Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is a hormone naturally found in both males and females. It plays an important role in regulating metabolism as well as maintaining a pregnancy (hence why itโs also known as the pregnancy hormone). HCG may help reduce weight, suppress appetite, burn fat, and boost energy levels. In women, it may be used to cause ovulation and help with infertility, while in men HCG may be used to relieve symptoms of hypogonadism, increase testosterone and sperm production, correct undescended testes, improve sexual function, enhance performance, provide a sense of well-being, and prevent or reverse steroid side effects.
